Week 464 results (2004 December 17 - 23)

20 December 2004 --

  • IGR J00291+5934 - declined below 10 mCrab
  • V0332+53 - rose to approximately 1 Crab. The spectrum is much harder than that of the Crab Nebula. Since the gain of SSC 1 (numbered on a 1-3 basis) is much different from the gains of the other 2 SSCs and the calibration of the SSC 1 results is dependent on the source spectrum, the intensities derived from SSC 1 observations are too low.
  • GRO J0422+32 - may have risen to ~13 mCrab for a few days
  • Mkn 421 - ~25 mCrab
  • GX 339-4 - ~260 mCrab
